Mountain and Vineyards Drive +- 1h30

This route takes you through the world-renowned vineyards of Hamilton Russell and Southern Right wineries. Travel up the mountain and through the fynbos kingdom. This route takes you into the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and your half way point is one of the most pristine look-out points in the Western Cape. From here you will have a spectacular birds-eye-view of Hermanus. Cameras on this trip are an absolute must! - Whale spotting from this vantage point allows you to see the bigger picture of activity throughout the entire bay.

Sun Downers & Sunset Ride +- 2H00

Start the tour on one of South Africa's most renowned wine farms – Hamilton Russell Vineyards.

Depart from the tasting room with a selection of wines in hand (to be sampled on the viewing point). Take a ride through the vineyards and up the mountain. Once the viewing point is reached the guide will explain the Walkerbay ocean reserve (Whales can be observed in season). Incredibly breathtaking views as far as the eye can see will allow you to experience an African sunset unlike any other.

Hermanus Stargazing Trip +- 3 hours

Ever heard of astronomy or stargazing? Hermanus Forest Adventures hosts interactive astronomy presentations for stargazing enthusiasts. Our night sky talks are conducted on quad bikes high on the mountains surrounding Hermanus.

One of the awe-inspiring sights that will await you if you come to Hermanus from the city, is the brilliant display of a starry African night sky. With minimal light-pollution around you, the heavens take on a whole new splendor, especially on a clear, moonless night. Take a closer look at the famous Southern Cross, Orion, Jupiter's moons, various stars, moon craters, even satellites and shooting stars. Your knowledgeable guide will make the night sky come alive to you with a spellbinding, interactive presentation.

Hi there, i will be up with a friend this weekend from thurs – sunday. It it possible to book the sundowner quad bike ride for perhaps friday or saturday?? What are your rates and all other neccesary info?

Myself, my husband & our 2 kids – age 10&11 would be interested in your quad tours including a vineyard when we come to Hermanus in October. Could the kids have their own quad or would they be on the back & what would the cost be,

Hi Sue If you haven’t contacted us please do so we will gladly book a trip for you! unfortunately we only allow 15 years and up to drive the quads so the kids will have to share with the adults.
